I’ve had my eye on CustomWritings.com for quite some time. Few of my readers on this review site asked for my evaluation of this service. It was about time for this CustomWritings.com review to come out.
At first sight, this is a very plain website. The design is, dare I say, outdated. However, it gives the information a potential customer needs. It has a blog, samples, and reasonable prices. So, we’re all good with the website. But is the quality good? I didn’t think so. Read on to find out what experience I had with this website.
What Can You Order?
The list of services is great. You can order most types of papers you could possibly need. I like the fact that this service is focused exclusively on students and doesn’t offer copywriting services like others do.
You can order an essay, book review, dissertation, and other types of academic writing. As for the special products, you can order a memo/letter, which is not usually available at other websites from this industry.
The website is utterly unappealing. However, I can’t say that it’s hard to use. It’s easy to see what the service offers and what your price will be. The Order Now button is easy to spot. The order form is compressed in a single page, which I like.
However, I had a serious problem: the writer did not answer my messages. That seriously affected the overall user experience.
Prices and Discounts
The available quality levels are High School, Undergraduate (years 1-2), Undergraduate (years 3-4), Master’s, and Doctoral. As for the deadlines, they may range from 1 month to 8 hours.
The prices seem reasonable; they start from$10 and go up to $48 per page. As for the CustomWritings.com discount policy, I find it ridiculous. If you spend more than $500 at the website, you’ll get a life-time discount of 5% on all future orders. If you spend more than $1000, you’ll get 10% discount; and the biggest discount of 15% is for those who spend over $2000.
I don’t want to spend $500 at a website just to start getting 5% off. Do you?
The customer support system is okay. You have to fill in a form before you access the live chat, though. The agents were pretty nice and gave me the answers I needed. The communication with the writer, however, was non-existent.
